Beast Masters Ben and Steve sit down with Josh Hatton from Single Cask Nation.
Josh is about to launch a new line of single barrel malts, the first Single Cask Nation bottles available in liquor stores. Josh specializes in finding special casks, often from distilleries that would normally only produce products used in blends. By showcasing some of these hidden gems in his single barrel SCN bottlings, Josh is bringing a fresh perspective to scotch whisky.

After leading a tasting at the Brandy Library in New York covering the full range of Kilchoman's offerings, James and Peter gave us some candid insight into all things Kilchoman from the unique perspective of two guys who literally grew up inside the workings of one of Scotland's few farm to bottle distilleries. We cover everything from opening the first new distillery on Islay in over 120 years to the craft of making Kilchoman's awesome malts to the best and worst jobs in the distillery.

Josh treats the club to some of his amazing single cask picks and talks to us about how he founded the Jewish Whisky Company and developed The Whisky Jewbilee festival, his private cask buying club Single Cask Nation and Whisky Geek Tours.
After we sample some of Josh's tasty treats, he slips into his role as representative for Impex Beverages and we taste an incredible, very limited production cask strength version of Kilchoman's flagship offering, Machir Bay.
