For the last four years we’ve tasted his entire collection, ranging from the Europe to Africa to the Caribbean, to the South Pacific. And after all these treasures we still firmly, now more than ever, believe that Traveller’s Distillery in Belize makes the best rum in the world.

This stuff continues to redefine what we thought rum could taste like. This latest cask is the oldest juice they’ve ever released. It’s just shy of 17 years. It was distilled in the spring of 2006, aged in a Weller bourbon barrel, and bottled in January 2023 just shy of 17 years old. It’s sweet without being cloying, funky without going sour, and wildly powerful without any spirit burn. It’s basically everything you always wanted rum to be, but didn’t think could actually happen in a single bottle.
