Foursquare is perhaps the most collectible and sought-after rum distillery in the world. And Holmes Cay is, in our opinion, the best independent rum bottler in the world. So when these two powerhouse names get together, you can bet that Beast Masters got our grubby little paws on a few cases of this extremely limited single barrel.

Two distillations - double retort copper pot still and twin column Coffey still - were blended into this single barrel which was aged 5 years in Barbados in an ex-bourbon cask and then transferred to Liverpool and aged in an ex-scotch cask. It’s bottled straight from that cask at 60.2% with no coloring or additives.

The combination of tropical and UK aging gives it a powerful flavor kick but also a smoothness and drinkability that’s pretty special. Stone fruits - apricot and peach, spices - black pepper, and bakery notes - honey, cinnamon, baked apples, brown butter are all present in this super special cask. If you know, you know - Holmes Cay and Foursquare fans will be all over this, and if you’ve never had either, you can’t go wrong either.
