The second barrel in our Jazzy Beasts series from Blue Note Bourbon is here! And it is One Jazzy Beaver. We'd never heard of Blue Note before, but when we tasted these cask strength, unfiltered, single barrel Tennessee bourbons, we were hooked. We absolutely DEFY you to find a deal like this in the market right now. 9.5 year straight from the barrel bourbon for under $90? GTFOOH! It can't be beat.

This hip beaver lays down beats that are so in the pocket! Whether you need a shuffle, a break, or salsa, he'll chew the wood right off the sticks with some sweet rhythm.

The nose on this comes right out of the glass with Charleston Chews! Like milk chocolate covered sweet cream. And the chocolate, creaminess, and charred wood just come together wonderfully into a deep rich nose. Then we get a big punch of oak going into the leathers, black tea, rock salt, some deep maduro cigar wrappers. The palate is super thick and oily, with a lot of wood, and some spice begins to enter the equation - not a lot, but a nice little bite of rye spice - black pepper, chipotle, mint leaves. The finish goes really long and woody, super warm charred oak and a little smokiness, on the dry side with super long and satisfying wood, sweetness, cocoa, and spice.

Get your groove on with this righteous beast. It's really rare these days to find such a high quality bourbon at this price. it's got just everything we look for, big nose, oily thick palate with beautiful wood and sweets, and a long finish to keep you jazzy through those winter nights!
