It’s here! The thrilling conclusion of our Beaver Jones trilogy. We’re proud to present: Beaver Jones & The Last Moustache.
Our friend David St. Stache, entrepreneur of Stachey Moustache Wax (patent pending), member of pop music trio The Spicy Girls, and avid beaver hunter, has been patiently guarding this secret chalice for thousands of years. The intrepid Beaver Jones, surprisingly lithe, athletic, and proficient with a whip considering his aquatic rodent upbringing, has penetrated its secret hiding place and rescued it for your enjoyment.
Again, a ~10 year single barrel bourbon for under $50 is rare enough, but this hand-picked beauty has everything the beasts look for in a fine afternoon sipper. It leads with baking spices - cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, baking bread, anise, and then it moves in candy - red twizzlers? red hots? And then it wraps up with a delightful finish of oak and tree bark. It’s a very manageable 90 proof, not the paint-peeling cask strength monster we usually serve up, but perfect if you’re feeling like something a little less high-impact.
If you’ve been collecting the entire Beaver Jones series, then we’re sure you’ll appreciate this beautiful conclusion. And if not, you still can’t go wrong with a lovely bottle of beast-picked bourbon, greats for gifts, for the collection, and for sipping as spring slowly rolls in.
