We knew that cask strength single barrel Old Forester would be popular. But we had no idae that our first barrel would sell out in a matter of minutes! So we had a lot of sad beavers out there. But never fear, our next barrel has arrived!

The first thing you'll notice about this badass beauty is the color. It's freaking dark as fuck! The nose has some of that classic Forester goodness. Pecan pie, with brown buttery nuts and flaky crust and creamy richness. There's lovely wood and char and little pops of candied lemons and oranges.

It's very thick on the tongue. The sweets are less noticeable on the palate and you get more spice, wood, leather, and that "old men's club" effect with wood, leather polish, and tobacco. The finish is seriously dope (did we just say "seriously dope"?? jezus we're old). But yeah seriously dope with some tart cherries, more of those lovely baking spices, and just a powerful long-lasting finish. Damn this thing honestly drinks perfectly at 132 proof, and that is absolutely nuts.
