Well it's that time of year when some of our most popular selections come out. And of course our Four Roses private barrels are always at the top of that list. This year we got two barrels. This first release is the OESK recipe. The "E" means it's Roses high-corn mashbill. And the "K" means it's their "slightly spicy" yeast. This one comes in at 10 years, one month old, at a nice and beastly 120.2 proof.

Oh, boy what can we tell you about how incredibly tasty, rich, smooth, spicy, buttery, and magical this barrel tastes? What can we tell you? Well... nothing, because we haven't even gotten to taste it yet! Due the COVID-sitch, these picks were chosen by a committee led by Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliot. Clearly Brent has probably tasted two or three more Four Roses barrel than us, so we feel like we're in good hands. You'll get the chance this time around to taste it at the same time we are.
