Well the bad news is we’re only getting one more barrel of Wild Turkey this year. But the good news is ITS INSANELY GOOD! This little bad boy Barrel #23-0394 comes from good old Tyrone warehouse Q. 4th floor. 

The nose comes at you with sweet rich flavors - cream soda, buttery pound cake, a little lemony citrus on the end. Then the spices kick in with mint and some root beer sassafras, lovely honeyed oak char, and ending with a little cocoa and peanuts.  

The mouthfeel is everything we love about Russell’s, oily and coating your tongue in all those sweet and bold flavors.  

But the really memorable part of this barrel is the finish. Long and sweet and spicy and wildly balanced leaving all that great bourbon aftertaste with just enough burn to let you know you’re drinking a nice high proof beast. 

Sadly due to the writers strike, our hero Pickly McBrine will not be appearing in a movie satire this year.
