Hello you mischievous little beasts!

Oh man do we love some Traverse City. From the lovely wax tops to the awesome barrel selections they produce, everything just seems right. Our first TC bourbon was a HUGE hit. And we've been patiently waiting in the queue for another barrel.

Well good news. IT'S HERE BABY! And this is the only TC bourbon we'll be getting this year.

Classic low-rye (75%/21%) MGP bourbon comes at you with lovely movie theater popcorn, some creamy vanilla (cream soda?), and nice deep layers of oak. The big proof shines through in the nose, inviting you to a massive amount of sweet and rich flavor.

The palate goes deep on honey with little pops of citrus like candied lemons. There's definitely a little spice here, some mint and black pepper making an appearance. The oak is just perfect, wrapping everything up with some good oak-driven sweetness but letting the spirit shine through.

Damn that finish! At 111 proof it's just perfectly in the saddle. This is a balance of insane drinkability with mega-flavor. Don't miss this treat, definitely another winner from Traverse City. Not to mention a beautiful presentation with wax top and metal Beast Masters decal that'll be the star of your top shelf :).
